Our ethical principles
The cornerstones of our business are honesty, ethics, responsibility and sustainability. Continuous improvement of our operations and practices is a key part of our daily work. We are guided by our Code of Conduct and related guidelines and policies, international agreements, laws and regulations in force in each market, export and import licensing practices, and agreements with customers and other stakeholders.
By adhering to our values, and in particular to our very high ethical standards, we can add value to our customers and stakeholders, enjoy their trust as an attractive, transparent and professional business partner and enhance our attractiveness as an employer.
The Code of Conduct and the Codes of Conduct form the basis for ethical decision-making by all our employees, staff, temporary and agency workers. Each member of staff is responsible for complying with the Code of Conduct and related guidelines and policies. We also expect our business partners to adhere to at least the same level of principles and standards in their business dealings.
We encourage our staff to report suspected misconduct and provide a range of opportunities and an open environment for this.
Ethics and ethical thinking guide our daily work
The Code of Ethics is based on values defined by our employees and the international principles created by the UN Global Compact, which aim to promote sustainable business development and a good corporate culture. The Ethical Principles guide our work in all business areas and countries of operation.
